The main, ground floor gallery space is fully accessible. The front entrance leads directly off Bermondsey Street and into the Project Space. You will need to ring the doorbell to the left of the door. There is a small step at the threshold (approx. 5cm), with a ramp available if required.
Gallery Two is located on the first floor, with 17 steps to the gallery space. The stair case has hand rails all the way up. There is a sofa permanently located in this space.
The Screening Space is located on the basement level, with 14 steps to the screening room. The stair case has hand rails all the way down.
Each event at BPS is unique, so accessibility information, including trigger warnings, is included in each individual Eventbrite page. Please get in touch if you have any questions about specific events.
Folding chairs are available throughout the building, and can be collected from reception at the rear of Gallery One.
There is an accessible and all-gender toilet on the ground floor, installed with grabs rails.
Assistance animals are always welcome at BPS. If your animal is not an assistance animal, please avoid bringing them to Opening Receptions as it can get very busy.
BPS is committed to welcoming underrepresented audiences to the Project Space. If you have any specific access requirements not listed here, or would like any further information, please contact the gallery and a member of staff will be happy to help.
