PHILIP VOLKERS – NAMIB CROSSING

‘Namib Crossing’, the latest free-to-view exhibition – sponsored by OLYMPUS, Handpicked Africa and Namibia Horse Safari Company – is by photographer Philip Volkers. It features evocative landscapes and imagery shot on OLYMPUS camera bodies and lenses.

Philip’s photographic ‘calling’, he says, came on the back of receiving the inaugural Royal Photography Society/Jeff Vickers MBE Bursary for Aspiring Young Talent in 2009. His pictures have a strong focus on nature – and he states that his aim is to produce imagery that is standalone in its impact.
