‘Almost everything we have learned about the universe has been revealed by light’ Prof. Brian Cox
David Williams’s main interests in painting are space and light. He works mainly on paper, which he manipulates, spraying it with a diffuser at acute angles to imitate light moving in straight lines. When the paper is stretched flat, the surface develops three-dimensional qualities which appear photographic.
