MassHysteria Presents: Film Night!

Film And Dance

Masshysteria are back at BPS for an evening of artist moving image and live dance performance.
 
The MassHysteria Collective has curated a series of movement films from their individual members and group repertoire to present in a one-night-only film screening.
 
You will be taken on a visual journey through five widely varied film lands, 
prepare for a visual and sensual feast!

Queer Noise II:

Tuesday 26 April 7 – 9pm

Poetry and performance

Join us for the second instalment of Queer Noise at BPS, expect gorgeously gay poetry and performance exploring queer identity, community and friendship.

The evening will be split into two halves. The first half brings you poetry from Kia Matanky-Becker, Grace Quigley and Morgana Rubini. In the second half, you will be treated to The Not 12 Days Of Not Christmas, an interactive one-woman show by Lila Robirosa

Experimental performance art

How do you make art in times like these? An evening of experimental performance from international artists and graduates of the RCA

The threat of World War Three, climate emergency, supply chain crisis, corporate malfeasance, and life contained in digital worlds. How do you make art in times like these? What does the art look like? What do relationships feel like? In an evening of audio-visual performance, spoken word and moving image, a group of international artists respond with four chairs, AI, Gas Hoods, brown paper bags and a gong.

50% of ticket sales will be donated to organisations supporting the people of the Ukraine 🇺🇦 and 50% will support Bermondsey Project Space’s outreach fund working with local young people.

SCRUFFY is a one woman show written and performed by Rosie Hollingworth, directed by Jack Beddow and produced by Holly Cowley

For Rosie, life is pretty much a massive performance so she is ecstatic to have a REAL LIFE audience here. Get ready for original poetry, hard core gymnastics, and even an Avril Lavigne tribute act! This is her time to shine – she’s not going to let an eating disorder get in the way of that.

Trigger warning: References to eating disorders
